Gulf Coast Business Credit Welcomes 2019 Summer Interns!
Gulf Coast Business Credit (“GCBC”), the working capital finance division of Gulf Coast Bank & Trust (“GCB”), is pleased to announce its new team of interns for summer 2019. GCBC offers interns hands-on training in finance, sales/marketing, accounting and underwriting. Meg Roberson, GCBC’s Senior Vice President noted, “We are thrilled to welcome Lacey Bohanan, Kyle Hladky, Will Huber, Mike Mondragon and Sam Wheeler to GCBC. Our internship program is critical to our talent recruiting as we seek to hire and foster the next generation of GCB leaders.”
Lacey Bohanan graduated from Texas State in 2016 with a degree in Education. After graduating she became a 4th grade teacher. Lacey is originally from Luling, TX and some of her interests include traveling and skiing.
Kyle Hladky is double majoring in Economics and Computer Science at Boston College, and has plans to graduate in the spring of 2021. Kyle plans on continuing his education at Boston College upon graduation to pursue a master’s degree in Cyber Security. Kyle is originally from Covington, Louisiana and in his spare time he enjoys swimming, writing and music.
Will Huber is an Accounting major at the University of Texas and will graduate in the spring of 2021. Will is currently involved in the YoungLife Leader program and volunteers with special needs children. Will also enjoys going hunting and fly fishing in his free time.
Mike Mondragon attends the University of New Mexico, and is a Marketing major on track to graduate in the spring of 2020. Mike is a huge fan of basketball and was a member of the University of New Mexico Men’s Basketball team. In his free time, he enjoys working out and listening to music.
Sam Wheeler is an incoming junior studying Finance at the University of Texas. Sam will graduate in the spring of 2021. Sam is originally from Houston, TX and is a Houston Astros fan. In his free time, he coaches youth baseball and enjoys collecting shoes.
2019 will be the Eighth Anniversary of the GCBC Summer Internship Program. The 2019 program will be co-led by Mrs. Rochinda Archuleta, GCBC’s Project Manager and Mr. Aaron Renaud, Underwriter. Rochinda and Aaron are responsible for creating and implementing an educational project curriculum that positively impacts the division as a whole.
