Gulf Coast Business Credit (GCBC), the Factoring, Accounts Receivable Finance and Asset-Based Lending Division of Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Co. (GCB&T), is proud to announce that the International Factoring Association (IFA), the world’s largest association of commercial finance companies, has appointed GCBC’s Meg Roberson as a new Advisory Board member.
GCBC’S MEG ROBERSON ATTENDS CFA CONFERENCE
Gulf Coast Business Credit (GCBC)’s Meg Roberson recently attended the Commercial Finance Association (CFA)’s Independent Finance & Factoring Roundtable Conference May 14-16, 2014 in Dallas, Texas.
The conference brought together owners and senior executives from factoring companies nationwide to discuss current issues and ways to address those issues. Panels and roundtable discussions took place during the conference covering a variety of topics including sales, back office, funding sources, social media, and competition.
“It is important to meet with like-minded professionals in the factoring industry in order to gain insight on current trends along with tips on similar struggles that we face on a daily basis,” said Roberson, GCBC’s National Sales Manager.
