GCBC’S CHRISSY SPHAR SUPPORTS NATIONAL SALES TEAM
Gulf Coast Business Credit (GCBC)’s Chrissy Sphar serves a vital role in supporting the GCBC national sales team as a Sales Administrator and Credit Analyst.
Sphar came to GCBC nearly 2 years ago with 9 years of teaching experience in St. Tammany Parish and Round Rock, TX. While not the most logical transition from education into finance, Sphar’s time in the classroom prepared her to approach each day with a sense of adventure and to think on her feet.
In her role as a Sales Administrator and Credit Analyst, Sphar analyzes risks and underwrites approval packages for new and existing GCBC deals as well as coordinates marketing events and facilitates sales team and intern projects.
When asked about her experience at GCBC, Sphar replied, “Working with GCBC has been one of the most unexpected blessings of my professional life. While working in our Austin office, I am still plugged into my NOLA roots with Gulf Coast Bank & Trust Company!”
Outside of GCBC, Sphar has spent the past several years working with cancer non-profits to fundraise, primarily by completing endurance races to promote awareness. Sphar has raised over $30,000 for organizations which include: the Go Mitch Go Foundation, Team In Training, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
Currently, Sphar is co-coordinating the annual Go Mitch Go Foundation Golf Tournament which will be taking place this Friday, October 17th!
