GCBC ANNUAL EMPLOYEE WEEKEND ON THE MISSISSIPPI GULF COAST
Since Gulf Coast Business Credit (GCBC) employees are located nationwide, the upper management team recently hosted their annual employee weekend on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
This southern weekend retreat included an inshore fishing tournament, relaxation on the Jourdan River, and of course a crawfish boil! The weekend started off on Friday with an inshore fishing tournament comprised of sales team members and upper management. Teams were led by Wade Hladky, Meg Roberson, and Chuck McDowell. The teams launched in Bay St. Louis and some journeyed out as far as the Louisiana marsh.
Hladky’s team won the grand prize for most keepers, with 23 Speckled Trout. Mike Theriot won the award for biggest single fish caught, with a 33 inch Redfish, weighing in at 15 lbs. The day ended with GCBC employees sharing fishing stories over an early dinner at Shaggy’s in Pass Christian.
On Saturday all GCBC employees were invited out to enjoy a delicious crawfish boil and later got together for raw oysters and dinner in downtown Biloxi.
GCBC realizes it is important to have team building activities especially when employees are located nationwide. The employee weekend allowed team members to spend time with each other outside of work as well as assess each other’s fishing abilities.
Take a look at some of the pictures below from this fun-filled weekend. If you have any inquiries, you can contact GCBC either by phone: 866-577-8867 or email: gcbcinfo@gulfbank.com.
